It has been forever-I have been busy!!!!
Wow! I know that it has been forever since I posted! I have been busy getting ready for classes. Last Sunday night I had my Christmas Boxes & Bags Class and then on Wednesday I had a Christmas Stamp-A-Stack. Both were a great time!! This is one of the projects we made in the box class:
These are the instructions to make this box:
Base of Box: 10-1/2″ x 10″ piece of Old Olive card stock. Score at 2-1/2″, 5″, 7-1/2″, and 10″ on the 10 1/2 side, then Score across the bottom at 2-1/4″. Cut in on score lines to make your flaps and use Sticky Strip to adhere the bottom.
Cut 4 pieces of Holly Jolly Designer Series Paper at 7 1/2" x 2 1/4", adhere to all four sides using SNAIL adhesive.
Punch holes with Crop-a-Dile on both sides near the top of the box, insert jumbo eyelets and set using Crop-a-Dile. Thread Old Olive Striped ribbon ends through eyelet and tie a knot on each end inside the box.
Lid: Cut out a Scallop Square in Old Olive card stock with the Big Shot. Emboss with Northern Flurry embossing folder. Score at 15/16" on all 4 sides. Fold on all score lines. Cut in to make flaps and stick together with Sticky Strip to form lid.
Cut one piece of Old Olive card stock at 2" x 3 1/2" and one piece of Very Vanilla at
1 7/8" x 3 3/8" . Stamp Merry Christmas sentiment at bottom of Very Vanilla with Cherry Cobbler ink. Mat the Very Vanilla piece onto the Old Olive using SNAIL adhesive. Attach to box using SNAIL. Stamp ornament on small piece of Very Vanilla and punch out with ornament punch. Adhere above sentiment with Stampin' Dimensionals. Tie a knot in a small piece of Old Olive or Very Vanilla ribbon and adhere to ornament with glue dots.
